Autotask, LabTech, and Microsoft What’s the Connection?
Orlando is not only the home to Looks Cloudy, but this week it is also home to three significant industry conferences, including Autotask Community Live, LabTech Automation Nation, and Microsoft’s TechEd North America. We expect to hear major announcements coming from each event and have already reported on Autotask’s new Certified Consulting Partner Progam in Why Autotask’s latest Announcement Makes So Much Sense.
LabTech is hosting its 2nd annual Automation Nation Event see (Press Release below). Expected to bring users together with training, leadership, and best practices, the conference has departed from its connection to the Connectwise IT Nation Conference, allowing it to stand on its own as an industry leading tech event. Coming off a big week of announcements from the recent Ingram Micro Event, it will be interesting to see what new developments come out of the Automation Nation Conference.
Microsoft’s 20th TechEd North America conference has brought over ten thousand partners to the Orlando area. Early reports from Tech Ed speak of the significance that the cloud and managed services has had on Microsoft. At the Keynote Sataya Nadella President, Server and Tools Business spoke of a “New Era” for operating systems where there are modern data centers and modern applications that make up the cloud infrastructure. Microsoft’s Server 2012, Azure, and In-Tune products have been big topics throughout the first day coverage.
Expect more news to come out of Orlando this week from all of these Tech Conferences.
