Differentiating the business through technology solutions to help businesses become more successful. Finding innovative ways and being creative is the key.
9:13 Big Data- in the future CompTia wants to provide tools and information to help businesses provide the type of information only enterprise business currently has access to
9:16 beyond the baby boomers- looking at and understanding the “millenials” Teens have big misconceptions about the IT industry. CompTia wants to begin education to kids about the IT industry beginning around 9th grade. 35% of the industry will be millenials by 2020 this is an important factor given the new workforce that is driving the industry and their expectations
9:25 CompTia advocacy is looking to open up the spectrum for broadband access, Healthcare IT is another area that needs a reboot according to CompTia, Liability threshholds for data breach is also needed and lobbying is required in this area.
9:27 CompTia is working with troops to help transition soldiers to our industry. being a veteran this is great to hear considering many veterans come out of the military and find it difficult to find careers that match their skill sets. It’s exciting to know that CompTia is helping in this area
