The Security Essentials product is a solution that provides protection for on-prem servers and handles spam, viruses, DDos, and provides business continuity for email in case of a server outage. Version 2.0 of ExchangeDefender Security Essentials enhances these features by expanding on the already proven platform, creating an easy transition solution, and lowering the price.
With the changes at Postini under new Google ownership, users of the product are being forced into Google products in order to continue with their service. ExchangeDefender has created an easy transition solution in its 2.0 release for users wanting to migrate from a competing solution. Additional benefits in the new release include an expanded Emergency feature.
