Life Beyond SBS is Focus of SMB Nation Fall Event
With many MSP’s, IT Solution Providers, and traditional VAR’s pondering their futures in the industry and with the news of the discontinuance of Microsoft Small Business Server (SBS), it seems only natural that SMB Nation would be focusing on “Life Beyond SBS” as the main topic of their fall event.
SMB Nation has always been the place for solution providers to come together and discuss trends. In years past the event was held on the Microsoft campus and had heavy ties to the industry giant. Microsoft has always been at the forefront of topics discussed at the industry gathering and has seen a number of products launched around the event.
This year will be no different; with Windows 8 and Server 2012 being introduced, the discussions are sure to be around these platforms. More than product though, the industry as a whole is having to take a long, hard look into its own place in a changing landscape. Cloud solutions and direct trends by vendors are making IT solution providers question the very nature of their businesses and where they fit in this new environment.
With so much chatter on forums and social media about life after SBS and beyond, SMB Nation has decided to make this topic a huge part of its annual event. This year is a pivotal year for IT solution providers and MSP’s making attendance almost a requirement to get the insight into what’s next for questioning SBS’ers.
SMB Nation Fall 2012 will be held in Las Vegas, NV at the Rio Resort October 12-14. Early Bird rates for the event end September 14th and easy payment options are available. Register at the SMB Nation Fall Website as this is an event you are not going to want to miss.
